“Tlingit Macbeth”, Morgan Howard, reporter. The Tlingit language is given a new birth as it is adapted to Shakespeare’s Macbeth and performed at the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington D.C.
“Spokane Gaming Compact”, Niki Cleary, reporter. After sixteen years of negotiations, the Spokane Tribe agrees to a gaming compact with the state of Washington.
“Lummi Healing Totem”, J.D. Mowrer, reporter.
The Lummi Nation House of Tears Carvers created a healing Totem in honor of the victims and those they left behind in the Olympic Pipeline Company explosion in Bellingham, Washington on June 10th, 1999.
