Virginia Jones tells a traditional story – “Sparrow Washing His Face”, as told by William Shelton in 1923.  Storytelling has traditionally had a very big responsibility, because they had a lot of teachings that they had to hold within the stories.  It was the way that the people would learn all the traditions, and they would learn all about the life that they had, and how they should live it, through stories.
